LaToya Irby – Pianist/Music Director
LaToya’s talent for blending traditional hymns and contemporary worship music is truly engaging. Her interest in music emerged as a young child and has blossomed over the years. LaToya began to play piano for Sunday School during her middle school years. As Music Director, LaToya’s maturity, creativity, warm personality, and ability to recognize strengths in others, has helped to shape the music ministry at New Life Church.
Rachel is recognized as a bright and dedicated musician. She began taking piano lessons at age 6. In High School, Rachel’s learned to play all woodwind and brass instruments. At New Life Church she brings a musical style that reflects her remarkable background training and musical experience.

Rodney O’Neal Parks – Drummer
In the early years of his musical journey, Rodney found that his ear and natural rhythm were the keys to developing his talent. It was in church however that he connected with other percussionists who taught him about the dynamics and theory of drums.
Rodney always gravitated toward gospel music. He came to New Life Church of God approximately 18 years ago and with him came the gift that brings excitement and a special lift to our music ministry.
